PRODUCT CARE

Different types of materials require different types of care, please consider the following care instructions to keep your Last Resort AB shoes in good condition. We also recommend using a shoe tree to allow the shoes to breathe and keep their shape. Please note that the inner lining may "bleed" its dye slightly on lighter colors. Store your shoes in a dry cool place.

Suede/ Nubuck Leathers:
We recommend you treat your shoes with a water repellent spray prior to first use to make them more resistant to dirt and stains. Note that the color will deepen slightly, but this is absolutely normal.

• To clean, use a rubber eraser to remove dirt and smudges. Then brush lightly with a soft brush specially for suede and nubuck products. Care should be taken to brush in the same direction. If you brush in different directions, some suedes will give the appearance of being two different colours.
• For deep stains use a shoe shampoo specifically for Suede and Nubuck.
• Follow up with a spray for water and stain resistance.

Textiles:
• Do not immerse or soak in water.
• Using a soft cloth, gently scrub the uppers using mild soap and cold water.
• Allow leather to dry naturally away from direct sunlight and direct heat sources.
• Do not bleach or use harsh cleaning agents.
• Do not machine wash or machine dry canvas products.

Full Grain/ Hi Shine Leathers:
• To remove dirt, wipe gently with a dry cloth to remove any dried-on dirt and dust. Dampen the cloth with warm water and wipe again.
• Allow leather to dry naturally, away from direct sunlight and direct heat sources.
• Use a high quality cream polish, then buff to a shine.
• Avoid liquid shoe polishes and silicone sprays.

Waxed/ Oiled Leathers:
• To remove dirt, wipe gently with a dry cloth to remove any dried-on dirt and dust. • Apply an appropriate cleaner (available at many athletic and sporting good stores).
• Allow leather to dry naturally away from direct sunlight and direct heat sources.
• Apply a leather protector and restorer, which are composed of oils and other non-water soluble compounds like lanolin to help guard against water damage to the leather (please note this may darken the leather of your waxed leather).

Patent Leathers:
• Use a soft damp cloth and a drop of mild soap to remove any dirt.
• A patent leather cleaner that contains silicone will return the high gloss.

Satin:
• Waterproof upper with waterproofing spray after covering any embellishments.

Mesh:
• Do not immerse or soak in water.
• Do not machine wash or machine dry mesh products.
• Hand wash using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and cold water.
• Follow up with a spray for water and stain resistance.
